Can antifreeze freeze?  If so, what temperature?

  1. Isn't the whole point of "antifreeze" to not freeze?? If it can freeze, doesn't that defeat the purpose?

  2. Antifreeze will only freeze when Burt Reynolds says for it to freeze.

  3. Sorry Ben. The correct answer is antifreeze will only freeze when Chuck Norris says.
Our research shows that the freezing point of most antifreeze in a car at a 1:1 ratio is around -40 degrees Fahrenheit.
