What city in South Carolina has an old saying that anyone who drinks from Catfish Creek will become infatuated with the area and wish to never leave?

Impressive Adam. Marion, SC does believe that Catfish Creek has the power to keep you in the area. So unless you plan on settling down in the exciting town of Marion, you may not want to drink from any creeks around there.

Bite of the Week

This week's bite of the week is the Sweetwater Cafe located on Market Street in downtown Charleston. The creators of questionoftheday sampled breakfast at this cozy cafe for six days straight.
The menu includes a variety of breakfast foods including the usuals like bacon, eggs, and grits. The cafe specialized in omelets though. Our favorites were the Main Street and the Double-Meat stuffed omelet. The Main Street was stuffed with corned beef hash and cheese. The Double-Meat stuffed was filled with sausage and bacon. Each comes with a side of your choice and toast, english muffin, or a biscuit. We always chose hashbrowns as a side. They were greasy but wonderful.
We only found two things that were not satisfactory at the Sweetwater Cafe. One was the biscuits. Occasionally the biscuits seemed a little dry and hard. The other problem was that every time we ate there our belts seemed to shrink just a little.... perhaps it was due to the lowcountry climate.
